    BUTTER AND VEGETABLES MARGARINES

    The butters are made using the best Premium-quality whole milk, which gives them their unique flavour and creaminess and makes them a natural source of vitamin A.

    In addition, the butters as well as vegetable margarines are made without any fully or partially hydrogenated fats or added TRANS-fatty acids with the aim of caring for our consumer's health.

    Europastry collaborates with UTZ, a prestigious organisation that enables farmers to improve productivity, product quality and efficiency, while benefiting people and nature. We are capable of certifying our cocoa products with Mass Balance Certification.

  • Products free from GMO

    PRODUCTS FREE FROM GMO

    None of the ingredients used in the final preparation of our pastries, dots and some others contains Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO).

    In order to guarantee traceability and the absence of GMO, we ask all of our suppliers for their Identity Preservation (IP) certificate, with which we can guarantee the origin of the Soya and Corn used throughout the entire supply chain before reaching our facilities.

  • No Hydrogenated Fats

    As not all fats are healthy, all of the products that we produce are free from partially hydrogenated fats. Our breads and pastries are made with love:

    We have reduced the amount of partially hydrogenated fats in all our products to below 1%, which is recommended for normal daily intake.

    Designed especially for people who want to look after themselves without having to give up the best taste, Europastry offers a range of delicious, healthy products.

    With the aim of helping to prevent childhood obesity, we have aligned ourselves with the NAOS Strategy for Nutrition, Physical Activity and the Prevention of Obesity, to reduce the amount of harmful fats in pastry products generally eaten by children under the age of twelve.

    WHOLE GRAIN INITIATIVE

    We offer a selection of Whole Grains Rich breads and rolls that meet the requirements of 51% whole grain products for K-12 school meal programs.

    We have many products that meet the Grain Claim criteria established by the Whole Grains Council to increase consumption of whole grains in one's daily diet.

    We hold the corresponding Organic Agriculture Certification for our BIO products, which have not been treated with any kind of pesticide or chemical product that is not natural; they have been produced with respect for nature's own cycles and, of course, are not, nor have ever been genetically modified.

    This means that our BIO products make a positive contribution to the environment and the local farming community, while guaranteeing products rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

    Our three production plants in the USA are SQF certified through their third-party audit process.
    All of our factories in Europe are BRC certified, British Retail Consortium Global Standards for Food Safety at the highest level.

    All our Dots and muffins are Halal Certified and also our Viennoiserie Caprice plant, where we produce our premium pastry made with butter. Some of our production centers (as our Tarragona plant) have Kosher Certification and many of our products are Halal.

    Our Microbiology Internal Laboratory is ISO 17025 certified by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC). In the laboratory our products are analysed daily to ensure our consumer's health.

    Our Environmental and Safety Department is responsible for managing all areas and legal requirements such as waste management, environmental controls, identification and evaluation to ensure compliance.
    Currently, our Rubí plant is ISO 14001:2004 certified (Environmental Management Systems). The facility also has an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that is certified to OHSAS 18001:2007. This system is also implemented in the rest of our plants.
